Terms & Conditions for Smash Society Badminton Tournament

1. Registration & Payments

  • All registration fees are non‑refundable, regardless of withdrawal, scheduling conflicts, or disqualification.

  • Registration is confirmed only after full payment is received.

2. Player Responsibilities

  • Participants must arrive on time for their matches. Late arrivals may result in automatic forfeiture.

  • Players are responsible for bringing their own equipment unless otherwise stated.

  • All participants must follow the rules, sportsmanship standards, and instructions provided by tournament officials.

3. Photography & Media Consent

  • By registering, participants grant Smash Society permission to photograph and record video during the event.

  • These photos and videos may be used for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes without additional consent or compensation.

4. Liability Waiver

  • Smash Society, its organizers, volunteers, and venue partners are not liable for any injuries, accidents, lost items, or damages that occur during the tournament.

  • Participants acknowledge that badminton is a physical sport and accept all associated risks.

5. Event Changes

  • The organizers reserve the right to modify schedules, match formats, pools, or courts if necessary.

  • In case of unforeseen circumstances (weather, venue issues, emergencies), the event may be postponed or adjusted without refunds.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Harassment, abusive language, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from the tournament without refund.

  • Decisions made by tournament officials are final and binding.

7. Data Usage

  • Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for tournament administration and communication.

  • Data will not be sold or shared with third parties.
